I HATE THIS FUCKING SITE SO MUCH

Anxiety, depression, mental illness in general, being raped or molested, you name it; is a very hard thing to accept for someone who grew up having their concerns invalidated by the people who were supposed to listen and help.

Now I’m older and slowly realizing that I wasn’t just “overreacting” or “being a hypochondriac”, and truthfully, there is very little relief in that. Because, on the same token, I’m having to come to terms with the fact that my parents are not very good parents.

Now I’m an adult with more child-like insecurities than I’ve ever experienced in my life.
